The happy people of Cambodia… it’s such a relief to holiday a life in desperate balance – romanticized over centuries by invaders, and cultural occupation and exploitation – for our own sake of welfare capitalism / travels (seeing the world won’t make you a better person no) so we can go return to a world of externalisation and don’t have to feel bad – because, YES, they are so happy here!
Empathy would start where it should be all Greek to us, and an awakening and not damn rejuvenating because we think we earned some slaves working not only for our well being but also for our hypocritical state of mind.
Another fart in the wind.
